Avianca Brazil supports initiatives for the promotion of the arts and culture in Brazil. Our purpose is to protect and support our heritage, to strengthen the identity of national artists and help them develop their work. For this purpose in 2011 we created Avianca Cultural. The program cover various areas of the arts, such as music, drama and the visual arts. Since the start the project has supported more than two hundred cultural events, and affected more than 40 million people.

 

Theatro NET Rio

Located in the Cidade Copacabana shopping mall, in Rio de Janeiro, the Tereza Rachel Theater was first opened on October 14, 1971. After more than ten years of inactivity, the space was leased by cultural producers Frederico Reder and Juliana Reder, of Brainstorming Entretenimento, and its curtains opened again as the Theatro NET Rio. The reopening performance was on April 4, 2012, under the title "BIBI – Stories and Songs". It was a celebration of the famous Brazilian artist’s 90 years of life and the 70 years of her career. The aim is to provide a stage for all the arts. The architectural project was the work of José Dias – Brazil’s top specialist in revitalizing theaters.

Theatro NET SP

The grandioso and welcoming Theatro NET São Paulo was opened on July 18, 2014. It has provided a stage for great performers such as Maria Bethânia, Gilberto Gil, Elba Ramalho, Lenine and Zizi Possi and musical spectacles such as The Great Mystical Circus, Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll and Nunsense, apart from numerous corporate events. The theater occupies an area of 2300 m², with a 799-seat capacity, modern architecture and the latest technology. Its décor creates a welcoming atmosphere for spectators. The cultural space is on the fifth floor of the Vila Olímpia Shopping Mall, in the southern part of the city of São Paulo.

Avianca Brazil is committed to actions and attitudes which perceive and use sport as a tool for benefiting society. We therefore enjoy supporting sportsmen and teams that transform dreams into achievement and want to fly higher still.

 

National Basketball League – New Brazilian Basketball (LNB / NBB)

In 2015, Avianca Brazil signed a contract with the National Basketball League (LNB) to sponsor the NBB (New Brazilian Basketball), the men’s basketball championship. In the 2016/17 season, the NBB was contested by 16 teams from seven different states, Rio de Janeiro, Bahia, Ceará, Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná, São Paulo and Minas Gerais and the Federal District. In all, 14 cities are involved: Bauru (SP), Belo Horizonte (MG), Brasília (DF), Caxias do Sul (RS), Campo Mourão (PR), Franca (SP), Fortaleza (CE), Macaé (RJ), Mogi das Cruzes (SP), Rio Claro (SP), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), São Paulo (SP), Salvador (BA) and Sorocaba (SP).

Do you have a project that creates synergy with the Avianca Brazil name, or do you know anyone who has? Fill in the form and email it to patrocinios@avianca.com.br. Read the rules carefully!

 

Sponsorship rules:

  1. The form must be completed.

  2. All projects will be carefully analyzed by a committee.

  3. If your project is of interest, the Marketing department will contact you.

  4. After an initial analysis, if we are interested, we will ask for additional material such as scripts, photos, videos and presentations.

  5. Make sure your project meets our guidelines.

  6. These guidelines can be altered in the political or strategic interests of the company.

  7. Events must be held in Brazil.

  8. We will not accept projects to be held less than 45 days in advance.

  9. Tax Incentive Laws: Avianca Brazil does not sponsor projects under the tax incentive laws.

 

We do not sponsor:

 

Under the company’s strategic definitions, the following projects are not sponsored by Avianca Brazil, irrespective of the benefits involved:

 

  • Religious.
  • Political.
  • Amateur sports.
  • Risky or radical sports (on land, at sea or in the air).
  • Sports or activities involving animals (e.g. rodeos).
  • Drama presentations with inappropriate content (political or religious content).
  • Awards for which Avianca Brazil competes directly or indirectly.
