Santa Lucía Hill

At the top of Santa Lucía Hill (Cerro Santa Lucía) is one of the coolest panoramic views of Santiago. In the viewpoint, it is possible to see the city and its amazing background: the Andes. Getting to the top of the hill can be a bit tiring as there are many stairs and ramps but its worth. On the way, check the Terraza Neptuno and the wooden sculptures.

Bellavista and San Cristóbal Hill

The Bellavista district has bars, restaurants and nightclubs, and is located in the Providencia region. A well-visited place is the Patio Bellavista which offers food, art, culture, shopping and local crafts options. Another important spot is one of Pablo Neruda's houses: the La Chascona Museum. The (San Cristóbal Hill) Cerro San Cristóbal has a sanctuary at its top and offers a panoramic view of Santiago.

Las Condes e Vitacura

Las Condes, like Providencia, is a set of several districts of Santiago. The region has tall and modern buildings. It is an important financial and commercial center of Chile. The Parque Arauco mall is one of the most sought tours in the region. In Vitacura, in a nearby community to Las Condes, is where the Bicentennial Park is located. The place has green areas, ponds and animals.

Valparaíso and Viña del Mar

It takes one and a half hours to get to Valparaíso and Viña del Mar from Santiago. The cities are traditional tours in the itinerary of those who travel to the Chilean capital. Valparaíso is known for its old colorful houses. On top of its hills, you can see the Pacific Ocean. In Viña del Mar, the most exciting place is the Balneario de Reñaca, due to its beach and its restaurants.

The Andes

Visiting the Andes is a must when you go to Chile. No wonder, the mountains are really beautiful and to be on them is amazing! In winter, visitors go for the ski resorts to enjoy the landscape and have fun. The largest and best known of them is located in the Valle Nevado. In summer, the tip is to get a horse and ride on the Andes.
