All photo-documents listed as follows are accepted, original or authenticated copy, for boarding domestic flights according to ANAC 400 Resolution.
Brazilian passengers over the age of 12
Identity Card (RG) issued by the Public Security Secretariat of one of the states or the Federal District;
Identity Card issued by a Ministry or Agency subordinated to the Presidency of the Republic, including the Ministry of Defense and the Air Force, Navy and Army Commands;
Identity Card issued by the Judicial or Legislative Powers at the federal or state levels;
National Driver's License (model with photo) - ATTENTION: The CNH-e (National Electronic Validation License) is in the validation process for air transportation and will not be, according to the guidance of the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), for the time being accepted as an identification document;
Identification Card issued by a professional category council or federation, with photo and notary attestation throughout the country;
Pilot, flight attendant, flight mechanic and flight operational dispatcher license issued by the National Civil Aviation Agency – ANAC;
Another identification document with photo and notary attestation throughout the country.
In case for loss, theft or theft of the identification document and, in the case of travel in national territory, the Accident Report issued by a competent public security authority will be accepted. The validity of the document must be observed if it does not have this information and the document must be accepted with a maximum of 60 days after the date of issue. Occurrence Report for minors under 18 will not be accepted for boarding.
Brazilian passengers under the age of 12
A Birth Certificate or any of the aforementioned identification documents may be used for boarding. For the boarding of minors, please check the rules and required documentation.
Passengers with Social Name
To embark on Avianca flights, reservations can be accepted with the social name, provided the passenger presents the Social Card and the RG, as both documents are linked. If the passenger does not have the social name card, the reservation must be in accordance with the name of the civil registry. Valid only for domestic flights.
Passengers of Other Nationalities
Any of the documents listed below may be used for boarding:
Foreign Identification Card – CIE (RNE), respecting the international agreements signed by Brazil;
Diplomatic or Consular Identity Card or other legal travel document resulting from international agreements signed by Brazil;
In the case of domestic travel, the protocol for a requested CIE issued by the Federal Police may be accepted in lieu of the original document;
The CIE replacement is waived as per the terms of Law no. 9.505 of October 15, 1997 for foreigners who have permanent visas and who have participated in a prior re-registration process and who:
have completed sixty years of age by the expiration date of the document; or
are physically handicapped.
The above rules are valid only for flights operated by Oceanair Linhas Aéreas S / A (O6). If you have a section operated by another company, check the conditions and rules with the operating company.
In case of purchases of tickets with domestic and international sections, it is necessary to present the documentation regarding the international flight from the origin, even if the first stretch is domestic, otherwise the embarkation will be denied.
To enter the South American countries in which Avianca Brasil operates, Brazilians must present their identity card (RG) in good condition or valid passport. Visas are only necessary if your stay is longer than 90 days.
In general rules, they follow the documents necessary to enter the United States according to three categories determined by the American government:

2. Green Card Holders
Information Regarding Children Under 18
Children and adolescents traveling with only one parent must obtain authorization from the other parent. If you travel alone, minors require the authorization of both parents.

Yellow Fever Vaccine Requirement
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Colombia determines that passengers coming from Brazil, Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda present the International Certificate of Yellow Fever for their entry into the country. This document is required and can be requested upon check-in and / or at the boarding gate.
Yellow Fever Vaccine Recommendation
In Brazil we recommend vaccination to passengers traveling to the Federal District and the states: Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Bahia, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Roraima and Tocantins that are vaccinated against Yellow Fever prior to boarding.
Important: The vaccine must be taken 10 days before the date of the trip.
